It is that time of year when the churches put on an amazing display of the most incredible flower arrangements, each church has a theme and a team of volunteers work together for the annual Flower Festival raising much needed funds for the churches.

So much creative talent was on display with the use of various different types of props to work alongside the flowers captivating your imagination in every way possible. Knitted animals, recorded bird song and even a display of the most incredible patchwork blankets this really is a community events bringing together local schools and clubs for an all inclusive village event.

Buses travel from far and wide each year to see the displays and there is always a delicious cake and a nice cup of tea to be had at each stop along the way. Bric-a-brac and plant stalls as well as the ever popular tombola I was delighted to pick up some new jigsaws to add to my collection.
